I want to hate this song, but I can’t. It’s just so fun! And I must say, Miss Katy Perry is a very lovely woman. I hope she manages to be more than a one-hit wonder, but if not, at least we’ll all have this song to remind us when drunken bi-curiosity became mainstream.

   I liked it too :) the song I mean, or kissing girls, or whatever. She is very beautiful, I’d kiss her ;)

   Maybe I’m a bad bisexual for appreciating that video, but on the other hand I do believe there’s a touch of wry cynicism about the whole thing in the lyrics. The roaring twenties aesthetic is also a really interesting choice and I think saves the whole thing for me — reminding us that, in fact, this is not the first time in the history of the world to birth the whole trendy-bi-curious cultural meme…
